Gopro Hero 5 Battery Door Not Closing

For some reason the battery door won t seal completely flush.

Gopro hero 5 battery door not closing. I have just bought the gro pro hero 8 as an xmas present. Replace the side door. The locking tab on my hero 5 s battery door stopped functioning. The battery door does not close and i have tried everything.
