Garden Maze Quilt Sashing
I ve used both of these a bit lately and want something else.

The traditional way of making them uses a cross over in the corner stone and simple rails in the sashing. What follows is my quick piecing technique which i hope will keep you from being dazed by the garden maze.
For each cut two 1 1 2 x 12 1 2 strips brown and one 5 3 4 x 12 1 2 strip pink print. Though garden maze looks complicated it is really a pieced sashing which is not difficult to do. Sew the blocks in each row together separating them with 1 1 2 x 6 1 2 vertical sashing strips. If your quilt is scrappy arrange the blocks on a design wall or other flat surface placing them in five rows each containing five blocks.
